You can use shortcut keys to select a menu command or perform an action by pressing one or more keyboard keys instead of using the mouse.

Tip:
In a menu, you can find shortcut keys by observing the description displayed next to the menu command. In the File menu, for example, next to Open is displayed CTRL+O.

How to customize shortcut keys

To customize shortcut keys choose the Toolbars » Customize command in the View menu or right-click on any toolbar and then choose the Customize command. In the Customize dialog box, choose the Keyboard tab.
