The ribbon organizes the tools into logical groupings and provides a compact palette of all the tools needed to create or modify the design.

Ribbon Tabs and Panels

The ribbon is composed of a series of tabs, organized into panels containing tools and controls. The tabs group the tools into homogeneous categories.

Slide-out Menu

If you click the arrow in the middle of the title of a command, the panel expands to display a menu with additional tools and controls.

Tooltips

When you move the mouse pointer over a command or bar button, a description of the corresponding command is displayed.
