This window allows you to set the parameters to define the style of the Pin objects.

Segment

The pin is characterized by two points. The first point is the anchor point to the component, while the second point is the electrical terminal. The options in this group allow you to set the parameters for the style of the line between these two points, which is the visual representation of the pin.

Length

Specify the length of the pin, which is the distance between the anchor point and the end point. This value should be calculated so that the end point is centered on the electrical grid.

Style

Allows you to select the style from those available for the pen. To add a new pen style, click Style Manager. To make the pin invisible, select None.

Shape

The options in this group allow you to define the shape of the pin. The pin shape does not characterize its electrical function, which must be set in the pin properties window.

Shape

Select the shape from the list.

Horizontal size

Sets the length of the shape.

Vertical size

Sets the height of the shape.

Pen style

Select the pen style to draw the outline of the shape.

Fill style

Select the fill style.

Number

The parameters belonging to this group allow you to define the style and position of the pin number.

Dx

Determines the position of the pin number along the axis connecting the endpoint and the pin anchor point. The position is calculated with respect to the origin point selected in the Position box. The zero value centers the number on the origin point. Positive values shift the number to the opposite extreme. Negative values move the number away from the opposite extreme to the selected one.

Dy

Determines the position of the pin number perpendicular to the axis joining the end point and the pin anchor point. The zero value centers the number on the axis. Positive values bring the number above the axis while negative values bring it below.

Position

Select the position of the number relative to the pin. Determines the origin point for the translation made by the parameter Dx.

Style

Select the style of the pin number.

Name

The parameters belonging to this group allow you to define the style and position of the pin name.

Dx

Determines the position of the pin name along the axis connecting the endpoint and the pin anchor point. The position is calculated with respect to the origin point selected in the Position box. The zero value centers the name on the origin point. Positive values move the name to the opposite extreme. Negative values move the name away from the opposite extreme to the selected one.

Dy

Determines the position of the pin name perpendicular to the axis that joins the end point and the pin anchor point. The zero value centers the name on the axis. Positive values carry the name above the axis while negative values carry it below.

Position

Select the position of the name relative to the pin. Determines the origin point for the translation made by the parameter Dx.

Style

Select the style of the pin name.
