In a style is a set of properties identified by a name. This dialog box allows you to create and manage the public styles of objects. For information on styles, see Creation and use of styles.

You can create a new public style from scratch or copy an existing one In both cases, in the New style dialog box you can define the characteristics of the new style.

Style classes

You can group styles into homogeneous classes.

To create a new class, click the button.
To change the name of a class, click the button.
To delete a class, click the button.

Style handle

The style handle is identified by a 27-character alphanumeric string and is displayed in the box at the bottom of the dialog box. The handle can be used to identify the style in external procedures.

To create a new style

  1. Select the type of style in the box on the left.

  2. Click the Add button. The New style dialog box appears.

  3. pecify the name to assign to the style.

  4. Select the class in which to insert the style and, for the fill style, select the type of fill.

  5. Click on OK. The style properties dialog appears.

  6. Define the characteristics of the new style.

To create a new style by copying an existing one

  1. Select the style type in the box on the left.

  2. Select the style from which to copy the properties.

  3. Click the Duplicate button. The New style dialog box appears.

  4. Specify the name to assign to the style.

  5. Select the class in which to enter the style.

  6. Click on Ok. The Style Properties dialog box appears.

  7. Define the characteristics of the new style.

To rename a style or change its class

  1. Select the type of style in the box on the left.

  2. Select the style to rename.

  3. Click the Rename button. The New style dialog box appears.

  4. ecify the name to assign to the style.

  5. Select the class in which to insert the style.

  6. Cliccare su Ok.

To change the properties of a style

  1. Select the type of style in the box on the left.

  2. Select the style you want to change.

  3. Click the Edit button. The Style Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Define new style features.

To delete a style

  1. Select the type of style in the box on the left.

  2. Select the style you want to delete. Only user-defined styles can be deleted.

  3. Click the Delete button. The dialog box for confirming the operation is displayed.

To import styles from another Job

  1. Select the type of style in the box on the left.

  2. Click the Import button. The dialog box for choosing the file from which to import styles is displayed.

  3. Select the file and click the Open button. The dialog box with the list of available styles is displayed.

  4. Select the styles to import and click the Import button.
