The operation of summing objects allows to obtain a shape with a single contour. The new shape uses the perimeter of the summed objects as the outline and adopts the fill and outline properties of the last selected object. All intersection lines disappear.

NotaNote:

The operation of summing objects can be used on the following object types: Shape, circle, ellipse, and rectangle.

To add two or more shapes

Do the following:

  1. Select the source objects.

  2. Press and hold SHIFT and select the main object.

  3. Choose the Operations » Boolean » Union command or click the button in the toolbar.

The new object acquires the filling and contour properties of the main object.
