A shape is a sequence of line, arc, or curve segments connected as a single object. You can divide the individual segments that make up a shape by creating independent objects.
To divide a shape
Perform the following operations:
Select the shape.

Choose the Graph » Shape » Split command or click the
button in the toolbar.
