A cutout object is a closed polygon that defines the profile of an area to be cut out on the PCB. You can draw cutouts with a profile of any shape, or you can create a cutout object by copying its shape from another object.

Draw a rectangular area to be cut out of the PCB.

Draws an area of circular or elliptical shape to be cut out in the PCB.

PCB » Board » Cutout » Slot

Draws a slot to be cut into the PCB.

PCB » Board » Cutout » Paste Shape

Creates a cutout object from the geometry of the object copied to the clipboard.
