Power ports allow you to extend a connection to connect components that are not connected by a wire. Components, even those belonging to different pages, that are connected by ports with the same name will be connected.

A Power Port assigns its name to the connection. Connections whose name is determined by a Power Port are always valid globally or are valid in all pages of the project. |

Do not confuse Power Ports with power sources. A Power Port does not constitute a power source but is only a reference to it. A power source must always be plugged in to power a circuit. |
