You can specify the font for a new text by changing the font settings before you start typing. The settings for the character can be changed all at once in the Font dialog or you can use the commands on the Format and Text toolbars.

To set the current font type, style or size

  1. Choose the Format » Font command.

To change the font, style or size of the text

  1. Select the text you want to edit.

  2. Choose the Format » Font command.

To change the font color

  1. Select the text you want to edit and do one of the following:

    • Choose the Format » Font command and choose the font color.

    • Choose the Format » Font color command. The dialog box in which to choose the color opens.

    • Click the button in the toolbar.

To change the background color

  1. Select the text you want to edit and do one of the following:

    • Choose the Format » Background Color command. The dialog box in which to choose the color opens.

    • Click the button in the toolbar.
