Use this dialog when you need to have precise control over the placement of a single object or group of objects.

SuggerimentoTip:

To open this dialog, choose the command Move in the menu Operations or click the button on the toolbar. This dialog box is also displayed when you select the Move command from the menu of a hook.

Offset

DX

Specify the value of the shift along the X axis. Positive values move the object to the right, negative values move it to the left.

DY

Specify the value of the shift along the Y-axis. Positive values move the object up, negative values move it down.

Coordinates

Pos X

Specify the horizontal position of the point where the object is to be placed.

Pos Y

Specify the vertical position of the point where the object is to be placed.

Absolute coordinates

Specifies whether a shift should take place based on the values of DX and DY relative to the current position or the object must be placed on the coordinate values specified in the boxes PosX and PosY. If you check this box, the Position box becomes active.

NotaNote:

The DX and DY boxes, alternate with the boxes PosX and PosY based on the value of the Absolute Coordinates box.

Position

This box is active only if the Absolute Coordinates box is selected. The buttons in the box allow you to specify the point of the object to be placed on the selected coordinates. You can select a point on the perimeter of the selection rectangle or the center of the selection itself. If, for example, you want to center the object on the coordinates, click the middle button.

External profile

Check this box to take into account the thickness of the pen used to draw the outline of the object.

Hotspot

If you select this box, the object is positioned so that its hotspot matches the coordinates specified in the boxes PosX and PosY.

Reference

If you check this box, the object is moved so that the reference point of the selection is placed at the coordinates specified in the boxes PosX and PosY. See Transformation centre.

Hook

If you check this box, the object is positioned so that the clicked hook is placed at the coordinates specified in the boxes PosX and PosY. This option is only available if the Move or Move All command has been selected from a hook menu.
