Tables are a set of text boxes arranged side-by-side on rows and columns and sharing the same graphic appearance. This dialog box lists the table cell properties. The cell properties of a table are divided into four tabs.

Shape

Edge

Specify the visibility of the four sides of the cell edge.

Margins

Specify the width of the cell's internal margins.

Alignment

Specify the horizontal and vertical alignment of the text. See Text alignment.

Spacing

Specify the spacing between the lines of the text.

Style

Font style

Select the font style. The style set is the default style of the object and is only used by characters for which the style is set to Use the default style.

Foreground style

Select the font fill style. The style set is the default style of the object and is only used by characters for which the style is set to Use the default style.

Background style

Select the cell background style from the proposed list or create a new style.

Edge

Select the styles of the four edges of the frame that encloses the cell.

Text

This tab has a central text input box and two boxes from which to select the style and color of the selected characters. The toolbar at the top of the window provides commands for text formatting.
