The status flags determine some characteristics common to all objects and are displayed in the Flags tab accessible from the object properties window.

Flag Description

The object is visible

Indicates whether the object should be visible or hidden. A hidden object cannot be selected. To make a hidden object selectable again, activate the Make hidden objects visible available in the basic properties of the layer. See Layer Setup.

The object is printable

Indicates if the object is to be printed.

The object is snappable

Indicates whether the object's notable points are active for object snap operations.

The object is selectable

Indicates if the object can be selected. When an object cannot be selected, it cannot be edited. To make a hidden object selectable again, activate the Make protected objects selectable available in the basic properties of the layer. See Layer Setup.

The object can be moved

Indicates if it is possible to move the object with the mouse.

The object can be rotated

Indicates whether the object can be rotated with the mouse.

The object can be tilted

Indicates whether the object can be tilted with the mouse.

The object can be resized

Indicates if it is possible to resize the object with the mouse.

Hidden in the symbol

Indicates that the object must be hidden when the symbol is loaded from the library.

Negative on PCB copper

Indicates that the object is shown in negative on the copper areas of the PCB.

Ignore style changes

The styles of objects that have this flag set can only be changed from the object properties dialog.
