When incorporating data from other programs, the design becomes a passive container for this data. To change the data you need to open the program that produced them. For example, by embedding a diagram produced with Excel, only the diagram image is reproduced; to be able to modify the data, Excell must be started.

To change the data contained in an OLE object, perform the following operations:

  • Select the OLE object.

  • Choose the Graphics » OLE » Open OLE command. This causes the activation of the program with which the data was created.

  • Change the data and at the end choose File » Exit and return to the document, the application closes and the OLE object in the drawing is updated.
