This command allows you to place a single pad.
To place a pad

Do one of the following:

Choose the PCB » Pad command or click the
tool in the toolbar.

Choose the Library » Pad » Pad command or click the
tool in the toolbar.

Place the pad on the PCB and click to insert it into the drawing or press the INS key to open the dialog box where you specify the coordinates.
The pad is created in the current style.
Commands and options
To repeat the command press the SPACEBAR.
To close the instrument without placing the pad press ESC.
To change the style or set the pad parameters, open the tool menu by right-clicking and choose the Settings command to open the Place Pad dialog.
To display the tool menu, which has commands for rotating and reflecting objects, press the right mouse button.
