The layer style can be assigned to objects either from the Style Bar or in the object properties dialog.
To assign the layer style to objects from the Style Bar
Do one of the following:

Select the objects to which you want to assign the style.
Click on the arrow
on the style bar next to the button corresponding to the desired style.
Choose From Layer.
To assign the layer style to objects from the object properties dialog

Display the object properties dialog box.
Choose From Layer in the list box that lists the available styles.

The only styles that can be assigned by the layer are pen, fill, and font styles. |
