To add a reference to another library

In a library you can insert references to other libraries or to individual folders of other libraries.

  1. Select the folder where you want to add the reference to an existing library and choose the Edit » Add Library command or click the tool in the toolbar. The dialog box for specifying the library name appears.

  2. Enter the title of the new folder and the name of the library. Only the name of the library file should be specified without the path. The file must be located in the library file folders.

To specify a single folder present in a library file, you must specify the full path within the library, separating the individual folders with the backslash character "\". Example: "texas\logic\gates" locates the gates folder present in the library file texas.clxjob. Individual folders in the path can be displayed or hidden by prefixing the folder name with the + or - character. If the prefix character is not specified the folder names are visible as set in the library file.

  3. Click on Ok.
