The alignment function allows you to align objects with each other or with respect to the page. Objects can be aligned according to their size or origin point (hotspot).

To align objects accurately

Perform the following operations:

  1. Select the objects to be aligned.

  2. Choose the Operations » Alignment » Align command or click the tool in the toolbar. The Align Objects dialog box opens.

  3. Set the parameters of the dialog box and click on Ok.

To align the origin of objects to the grid

Perform the following operations:

  1. Select the objects to be aligned.

  2. Choose the Operations » Alignment » To Grid command or click the tool in the toolbar.

To align more objects with respect to the selection rectangle

The following operations allow you to align the selected objects with the selection box. Alignment does not take into account the thickness of the pen used to trace the outline of objects.

Perform the following operations:

  1. Select the objects to be aligned and choose one of the following operations:

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Left or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Center or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Right or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Top or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Middle or click the tool in the toolbar.

    • Choose the Operations » Alignment » Bottom or click the tool in the toolbar.
